Do you ship ammunition to my state?
At this time we are not shipping ammunition to the states of Alaska, Hawaii, Massachusetts, New York, California, or the District of Columbia. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
Due to the stay issued against the ruling in Rhode v. Bonta we are not shipping to California again.
So you do ship ammunition to Connecticut, Illinois, and New Jersey?
Yes, we do. However, we require that you send additional documentation to comply with state laws. The instructions for that are listed below.
Connecticut - You must send a copy of a) a handgun carry permit, gun sales permit, or long gun or handgun eligibility certificate or b) an ammunition certificate along with a driver's license, passport or other valid government-issued identification that contains your photograph and date of birth in order to purchase ammunition according to Connecticut state law. Please send it by email to info@ammomart.com.
Illinois - You must send a copy of your Firearm Owner's Identification (FOID) card and either your Illinois driver's license or Illinois State Identification card. The order must be shipped to the address on these documents. Please send it by email to info@ammomart.com.
New Jersey - For handgun ammunition only, you must send a copy of your Firearms Purchaser Identification card or a permit to purchase a handgun, or a permit to carry a handgun. Please send it by email to info@ammomart.com.
I have previously sent in the documentation required to ship ammunition to Connecticut, Illinois, or New Jersey. Do I need to send it in every time I place an order?
This can vary. Our system associates your documentation with your order. If your order was placed under a registered account (not a guest account) future orders placed under that account should automatically be associated with your documentation. Any order placed under a guest account will not be automatically associated with any previously sent documentation.
If you reside in one of these states and your order has not shipped within two business days, chances are we are waiting on your documentation.
Can I ship my order to a different address than my billing address?
No. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but due to past fraudulent orders and the nature of our products, we currently require the shipping address and the billing address to be the same.
Can you ship to a PO Box?
No, the USPS does not accept delivery of ammunition at a PO Box.
My card keeps being declined. What is going on?
If your street name is also a number, we have noticed some issues with our Address Verification System declining these despite the address being correct. Entering the street name as First Street, rather than 1st Street seems to fix this issue.
If you are submitting your order with a different billing and shipping address, this will also decline through the credit card system. We require that the shipping address and billing address be the same.
My transaction was declined, but I'm seeing a pending transaction on my account! What's going on?
As the transaction was declined no order was placed, no product will be shipped, and you will not be charged. You may briefly see this as a pending transaction, but it will be removed when the bank attempts to process the transaction and sees that it was declined.
I can't find a phone number. How do I contact customer service?
We are a relatively small business and do not have a large customer service staff. We therefore cannot operate a customer service phone line. We handle all customer service through email at info@ammomart.com. We will respond as soon as we can during regular business hours, Monday through Friday.
Do you offer a law enforcement officer or military discount?
No, we are not currently offering a law enforcement officer or military discount.
I sent an email on Friday, and you still haven't responded. What's going on?
We are not in the office on weekends or holidays. We will respond to all emails as fast as we can during normal business hours, Monday through Friday.
